Look to the past and bring to the future... We bring you Throwback. A monthly party respectfully drawing inspiration from pioneers such as David Mancuso and his Loft Parties, Larry Levan and The Paradise Garage, Ron hardy's Muzic Box, Nicky Siano's Gallery, Studio 54 and the overall "seize the day" ethos, atmosphere and fun of the 70's/80's NYC Disco Scene.

This would go on to be the dominant influence to what was to become dance music culture worldwide as we know it today.

We welcome all to our temporary paradise changing through disco old and new, 80's boogie, modern edits on classic tracks plus a wealth of house music...

With an impressive string of releases under their belt already, including their edit of Womack & Womack "Conscious" & Stevie Wonders "Love Light" (Wolf + Lamb) which has brought them firmly onto the radar...

Soul Clap released their first three 12" records on Airdrop Records, "The Giraffe" and "die Ente", receiving remixes by Franco Cinelli, Tanner Ross and Mikael Stavostrand respectively. With remixes coming out on Mental Groove, Fade and OM Records and with their most recent "Soul Clap Edits" record on Wolf + Lamb Black - you will keep hearing about them.

Soul Claps productions are receiving big SUPPORT from people such as Claude VonStroke (Dirtybird), Matthew Dear (Ghostly), Italoboyz (Mothership), Olivier (Mental Groove),Seth Troxler (Crosstown Rebels), Dave DK (Moodmusic), Sebbo (Desolat), Shaun Reeves (raum...musik) ...

They have some very exciting up and coming works also including a new EP on Airdrop & remixes on Wolf + Lamb and Magicbag Music plus a project with Quarion on Mental Groove.

As well as their impressive release shedule and discography they also hold residencies at Airdrop (NYC, US),Rise (Boston, US) and and every Wednesday they host Midweek Techno, Boston's longest running techno night. In between all this they also manage to organize the highly praised "Dancing On The Charles" event each summer..

Having recently been signed to GEIST agency there gigging schedule is seeing them all over europe so we are very happy to welcome them back to leeds to the Loft .
