Some people just don’t mix with the in-crowd. These, let’s call them outsiders, prefer paving their own way to Easy Street. Often just loners with a unique vision, simply set to make a difference in a somewhat unconventional way. Of course this “detour” might cause a slight delay, but nonconformist are usually not in a hurry. Their sole purpose is to get the job done in exactly the manner they intend to. This is....TOCADISCO and Purrfect is very proud to welcome him to Leeds on Jan 30th.
Tocadisco turned his passion for music into a profession at a very young age. The studio wizard taught himself how to record and produce music with no teachers, no musical education and no annoying guidelines. He has remixed everyone from Axwell & Ingrosso to Deep Dish and Pet Shop Boys. Notable work includes remix of Mylo’s “In Your Arms”, “You’re No Good For Me” and Tocadisco’s The Egg rework of “Walking Away” which Mixmag called “the biggest dance single of 2006”. Since then, Tocadisco has dropped two artist albums and toured the world a few times always picking and choosing his events very meticulously.

Main room support comes from residents Nick Ostertag, John Marshall and David Ryan with the last two also keeping Room 2 freshly funky with plenty oldskool and retro beats taking us on a journey of sounds we’ve come to love from PURRFECT.
