Bank Holiday Sundays at Nation Of Shopkeepers were a revelation last summer, System and Louche bringing open air house music to Leeds City Centre to great effect. The beautiful walled courtyard with its intimate terrace where powered by the finest Funktion 1 sound bustled til long after dark, then we moved the party inside the venue, then again later onto Mint. So far so good... expect the same drill again and this time round we welcome Onur Özer, Shaun Reeves and Sergio and Benoit (Live) to town.

Onur Özer began his career in the nineties in his hometown Istanbul, and after a few years spent perfecting his sound he was living in Berlin, playing to wised-up European clubbers on a regular basis. An excellent producer, his notorious work on Vakant is loopy, groove led techno at its very best. He plays everywhere from Mutek to Fabric, and is signed to Sven's mighty Cocoon. He even mixed one of the Watergate compilation mix CDs. A truely great DJ, we can't wait to see Onur again.

Shaun Reeves knows Leeds well. His two gigs at Mint in the last two years have both been show-stoppers, the last of which being the UK debut of Visionquest, Shaun's band with Seth Troxler, Ryan Crosson and Lee Curtiss. The group, along with the record label have got off to a sensational start, Visionquest nights and tunes appealing to a wide range of people the world over. The Detroit native, who has produced on labels such as Wolf + Lamb and Crosstown Rebels is DJ of the highest calibre. The most technical of the Quest crew behind the decks, Shaun's sets never cease to amaze us, and it will be great to have him over again doing his thing.

Speaking of Visionquest it gives us great pleasure to present Benoit and Sergio (Live), the duo responsible for the labels first release. One of the most hotly tipped live acts of recent times Benoit and Sergio's sound is totally unique, a modern electronic pop outfit who's sound lends as much from Talking Heads and Paul Simon as it does from Ricardo or Isolee. Growing up thousands of miles apart, one in Paris and one in Iowa the guys met at a party in DC in 2008 and began making music. Beautifully lush, warm and sensuous, their release on Visionquest hit all the number one spots, on vinyl and digital, the a-side 'My Baby Does K All Day' haunting dancefloors the world over. 'Full Grown Man' on DFA, another of their big hitters ventures further into pop territory; sexualized melodramatic vocals draped over soft delicate percussion stunningly. These guys are seriously different, almost in a genre all of their own. A live set from these guys which includes live vocals will be the icing on the cake of a very special party.

As well as three unique headliners playing across two venues including Shopkeepers outdoor terrace & Mint Clubs intimate atmosphere we have support in Room 2 at Shopkeepers from party starters Teknicolor and Buttersideup. Couple that with the best Funktion One soundsystems going from day till night across 15 hours and you just about have the picture... but don't take our word for it, come see for yourself!
