Disciples head to Bristol's SWX

Published on: Wednesday 11th January 2017

House sensations Disciples were one of the high-flyers of 2016, and they’re not looking to rest up this year. Taking to Bristol’s SWX on Saturday 11th February, they’ll be showing off hits like “How Deep Is Your Love” as they assume control of the city centre venue.

Consisting of Nathan Vincent Duvall, Gavin Koolmon, and Luke McDermott, the South London group first made their mark in the UK charts with “They Don’t Know”, which came in at number 24, before a collaboration with Calvin Harris on “How Deep Is Your Love” reached number 2 in 2015. Offering catchy hooks to go with their soulful voices, the trio have been making dancey numbers with plenty of groove, and having spent the last year travelling all over Europe to play sets they know exactly how to make them work live.

Backed by Pete Tong’s FFRR label, which is supported by Parlophone, Disciples have gone from strength to strength, and the mid-February show in Bristol will give them the opportunity to set the tone for the rest of 2017. With two other stages run by DJ Kae and Tim Shires, the event is shaping up to be a large one for SWX and their loyal crowd of dancefloor steppers.
