French producer Julien Chaptal is one of the upcoming artists of the new Amsterdam electronic underground. Spearheaded by labels like 100% Pure, Intacto and Remote Area and a new breed of parties and clubs (11, Studio 80, Sugar Factory, Flex Bar) the Amsterdam scene in recent years has managed to put itself back on the international map thanks to the likes of Lauhaus, Boris Werner, Shinedoe, Bart Skils and Chaptal himself.

His debut album 'Tokens' is the best proof that Chaptal is one of the finest talents Amsterdam has to offer, with several tracks being used regularly to destroy dancefloors by Remote Area label boss Dylan Hermelijn (2000 and One) and the like. His sound is housey, deep and funky - just what we like.

Cultivated over the last 17 years, Simon Baker's impressive DJ skills are in high demand across the globe with regular tour dates in Australia, South America and increasingly in North and Central America. His talents as a producer are equally sought after, most recently releasing ‘U’ for Sven Vath’s ‘Cocoon Compilation H’ album and ‘Kaskazi’ (Get Physical), his first collaboration with now regular production cohort Jamie Jones.

He's a regular feature at some of the world’s best clubs and parties - Weekend Club, Watergate, Robert Johnson, Panorama Bar and Cocoon in Germany, Fabric, The Warehouse Project, and the terrace at Space, Ibiza - watch out The Mint Club.
