About Parklife Manchester:

Beginning life as a small one day festival at Platt Fields Park, Manchester, Parklife Festival has now evolved into one of the biggest inner city music festivals the UK has ever seen.  Since it's inception, the festival has developed into a full weekend festival that sees thousands of music lovers descend on Manchester for two days of the finest music on offer.

2012 was the last time the festival will take place at the original site of Platt Fields Park, as the festival moves on to new pastures for Parklife 2013.

Although the Parklife lineup is traditionally dominated by underground dance music with arenas being hosted by Crosstown Rebels, Chibuku, Kaluki, Wax:On, Ape and other dance heavyweights, the likes of Chic, The Flaming Lips, Dizzy Rascal, Labrinth, Azealia Banks and Jessie Ware have also featured at the festival over the years.

With no onsite accommodation and a whole host of after parties, taking over the city, the party certianly does not stop when the festival closes it’s doors at the end of each day so be sure to keep your eye out for details regarding all the official festival after parties.

After Parties

Parklife Festival 2012 saw a whole host of promoters from Manchester take it upon themselves to throw parties going on after the festival itself to ensure their fans and followers could keep the party going all night.  The Official Parklife Weekender after party was held at Sankeys following the Saturday of the festival and came courtesy of Afterlife (by The Warehouse Project).   The full lineup included a huge selection of artists from the worlds of house and techno including Crosstown Rebels duo, Art Department, Space Dimension Controllers, Roman Alfieri, Marco Effe, James Milne, Luca Bear, WHP residents; Krysko & Greg Lord, Drop The Mustard residents, Zutekh residents and more.

Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for further information (such as lineups, tickets and more) regarding Parklife Festival 2013 after parties, on Facebook and Twitter.
