As part of their ‘All Signs Point To Britain’ UK tour that is taking place throughout November, American rockers from Ocala, Florida A Day To Remember will be playing at The O2 Academy in Newcastle on the 23rd of November. The band is well known all around the world for the blend of pop punk and metalcore that can be heard across their 5 studio albums. The tour will be visiting a number of cities around the UK including Sheffield, Plymouth and Leeds.
2003 was the first years that A Day To Remember exploded onto the music scene, something which has not changed through the production of all their albums and many tours the band have embarked upon. Their first long player instantly set them on the path to success, with the next 4 albums all being hailed by both critics and fans. The American Charts have been home to the three most recent albums from A Day To Remember and they have also had quite an impact on charts in Britain as well. A Day To Remember’s most recent album ‘’Common Courtesy’ has once again stuck to the style they have been rooted to for many years, yet again receiving rave reviews, with particular attention paid to the tracks ‘Right Back At It Again’ and ‘Violence (Enough Is Enough)’. During the weeks leading up to the release of the album, the band orchestrated a cleaver run of promotional releases that saw track previews; artwork and videos appear online, hyping up the albums receive greatly. Before coming over to the UK, A Day To Remember are playing at a number of high profile US venues including The Shine Expo Hall in LA and The Reliant Theatre in Houston, Texas.
