On the anniversary of ALTER’s manifestation, we celebrate 2 years of tripped out parties the only way we know how - by losing ourselves in the most exhilarating techno with the world’s most talented artists and Leeds’ finest ravers. We’re extremely excited to welcome Peter Van Hoesen to guide us through our next musical rabbit hole, alongside our usual resident - Animist.

A man of many musical talents: DJ, producer, sound designer and composer for contemporary dance and theatre; Peter’s output ranges from strikingly deep dancefloor oriented techno to abstract explorations in electronica. His label, Time To Express, is an essential outlet for deep, physical techno laced with a trippy, bass-heavy feel and has released records from the likes of Donato Dozzy, Cio D’Or and Marco Shuttle.

Touring the world with his captivating live and DJ sets, he is perhaps most notably a resident of Japan’s fabled Labyrinth festival. Making a rare appearance in Leeds, we can, in his own words, expect ‘A solid dose of contemporary techno with a slice of psychedelica.’
