XOYO is proud to announce the legendary Busy P will become the club’s fourth quarter resident in 2015. Across October, November and December, Pedro Winter aka Busy P will play every Saturday at XOYO as he presents his 20 Years of Party. He’ll become the first Frenchman to take on a residency in the UK since Laurent Garnier at Manchester's Hacienda (who coincidentally went under the name of DJ Pedro at the time) – and we can’t wait.
Pedro himself has said: "I want this residency to sound like a musical journey of a young man who discovered electronic music back in the 90’s and made his life about it, a young man who’s still looking for the perfect beat.
From Carl Craig to Gesaffelstein, for our love of Techno... From Dimitri from Paris to Breakbot, for our need of Disco… From Basement Jaxx to Justice, for our heads to bang…
Twelve nights, twenty-seven DJs, ten thousand clubbers, 4 letters: XOYO.”
Pedro will be welcoming 2ManyDJs, Belgian masters of mash-ups and bastard pop. From politically incorrect prog-rock to funky r&b, from trendy hiptrop to banging German techno: if it gets a booty going, the Dewaele brothers have it in their record collection. With them both will be Lena Willikens, whose eclectic selections as a DJ have earmarked her as a truly unique force in dance music.
