Bitch 8th birthday feat Prok & Fitch

8 years is a long time in the world of music, so when a night like Bitch reaches its 8th birthday and is still pulling in huge crowds month after month, you’ve got to take a step back and have a look at the historic path that led them to this point.

Conceived in 2006 to cater for those where the weekend doesn’t finish on Saturday night, the Sunday slot at the world-famous Sankeys in Manchester quickly made Bitch notorious. The success has come thick and fast since then leaving Bitch as one of the country’s most in-demand house nights and earning themselves a name that is synonymous with powerhouse line ups and top-end production at events not only in Manchester, but also in Leeds, London, Newcastle, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

The list of guests Bitch have welcomed to smash sound systems up and down the country reads like a who’s-who of premier league house music – hosting the likes of Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Sander Van Doorn, Sunney James & Ryan Marciano, Laidback Luke, Eric Prydz, Eddie Halliwell, Mark Knight, Dirty South, Nervo, Michael Woods, Third Party, Chris Lake + many more. Bitch also hosted Hardwell’s unforgettable first ever show in Newcastle and helped Nicky Romero smash his first gig in Manchester, add to this their now-legendary jaunts to Croatia and Ibiza, arenas at Wickerman Festival and a third year hosting their own arena at Mint Festival… well you get the picture.

So, how do you celebrate 8 years of non-stop, jam-packed parties?

Do it like only they know how! September 27th at Venus Manchester will see the 8th Birthday with one of the favourite guest acts from this last year back to headline the birthday party to end all birthday parties (at least, until next year). We have asked the Bitch faithful over the time we have been at Venus who has stood out as favorites, who has rocked that dance floor to the core and made you have a night that you still think about to this day…. A few of this years headliners were in the running, but there was one act we thought musically captured the events in Manchester this year perfectly, we welcome back Prok + Fitch to take to the Venus decks and do what they do best, keep you dancing till 6am and the chants of ‘one more tune’ come from the still packed dancefloor!!! There’ll be a full-scale club production vibe going off with wall-to-wall special effects, lasers and lashings of birthday confetti to ensure this is serious night to remember.
