During the first week in July, the open lawns of Queens Square will become the Bristol Comedy Garden as a selection of some of the finest comedians from all over the nation will be entertaining its crowds through the weekend.
During the first three instalments of the Bristol Comedy Garden, Queens Square welcomed a selection of sterling comedy acts including the likes of Milton Jones, Reginald D Hunter, Shappi Khorsandi and David O’Doherty. To finish what will undoubtedly be a hilarious weekend of shows Ardal O’Hanlon will be the final headliner who will be joined by three other outstanding comedians. Ardal is an Irish comedian who is best known for his role as Father Dougal McGuire in the much-loved TV series Father Ted. Ardal has been featured on a selection of different TV programmes including the BBC series My Hero, Doctor Who and Skins as well as a number of comedy panel shows like Whose Line Is It Anyway.
Joining Ardal O’Hanlon to close the weekend at the Bristol Comedy Garden will be Canadians Stewart Francis and Craig Campbell who have supported the likes of Ricky Gervais, Jim Carrey and Frankie Boyle on their tours as well as appearing on Live At The Apollo and Mock The Week amongst many other well known TV shows. Finally completing the line up is a very special guest who is yet to be announced.
