Headliners Saturday 4th July
Calling Festival arrives back at Clapham Common on the 4th of July for another day jam packed full of classic rock bands and solo artists, many of which are playing exclusively at the festival this year. Over the years Calling Festival has entertained thousands of guests on an annual basis and has invited over some of the worlds biggest and best rock bands to lead the charge in providing a great weekend to all the many festivalgoers.
The first wave of the line up has revealed that headlining this year’s Calling Festival will be Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, the group Noel set out to form after his departure from Oasis. This year Noel and his group will be releasing their new album ‘Chasing Yesterday’, which is due to hit the shelves on the 2nd of March, however the lead single from he album’ In The Heat Of The Moment’ has already been heard, having crept towards the top of the UK Charts in the weeks following it’s release.
Also joining the headliner will be American singer and songwriter Ryan Adams with his band The Shining. Adams’ most recent self-titled album pipped the number 6 spot on the UK Album Chart and he has also seen much chart success with many of singles. The big guns continue as Calling Festival also welcomes The Hives. These suit wearing Swedish rockers are most well known for their anthem ‘Hate To Say I Told You So’, which was released as part of the debut album ‘Veni Vidi Vicious’. The final guests to be announced are Echo & The Bunnymen, however there will be plenty more to get your appetite rocking throughout the coming weeks.
The Event is not suitable for young children. Children under 5 (Aged 4 or below) are NOT permitted. Children under 14 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (18 or over) at all times and will need a full price ticket.
