Following a temporary withdrawal from Clubland, 2014 is no doubt the return of Motor City Drum Ensemble. Known for his Detroit-influenced 4/4 beats and soulful samples, MCDE’s Danilo Plessow’s gained cult status with tracks like ‘Send A Prayer’.

This month saw his first release under his Vermont moniker. A collaborative project alongside Innervision’s Marcus Worgull, the record’s been described as ‘Complex and Ambiguous’ scoring 4/5 stars from The Guardian.

It’s with great excitement we welcome MCDE to play Deviation’s April session alongside Benji B. In support comes Josey Rebelle. The Rinse FM DJ is sure to reign fire with her DJs that connect the dots to a wide-palette of genres.
