British R&B group Damage will be playing at The O2 Academy Liverpool as part of their 2015 ‘Ghetto Romance Tour’ that has sprung out of the recent appearance on ITV’s huge show ‘The Big Reunion’, which has sparked love for these great bands once again. The hit show on ITV1 involved a number of bands from the 80s and 90s coming together to perform for the show, some of which were Blue, 911 and Five, as well as one of the most popular British R&B bands to take the sound international, Damage.
Throughout the 1990’s, Damage has a string of 11 hit singles, four of which broke the top 10 in the UK. Their most well known singles are ‘Love Guaranteed’ and ‘Ghetto Romance’, which is where the name of the tour comes from, however throughout their life the band has sold a huge 2.5 million records.
The four piece, which consists of Jade Jones, Andrez Harriott, Noel Simpson and Rahsaam J Bromfield will be embarking on their tour at the end April and will be playing 7 dates up and down the country, stopping in Sheffield, Glasgow and Newcastle as well as performing at this years Wireless festival. Damage will stop off in Liverpool on May the 1st and will no doubt be bringing back some memories to many a fan that will flock to see them.
