Dillon Francis, the prolific producer and DJ born in LA, California will be descending upon the UK to play a series of shows at the beginning of next year. Most cited for his big room club hits that don piercing synths and heavy drums, Dillon has had his music released on labels like Columbia Records, Mad Decent and Fools Gold to name just a few.
The first appearance that Dillon made on the electronic scene was when he released his collaborative track with another famous house music star, Diplo. The track ‘Que Que’ was released alongside other notable singles including ‘Westside!’ and ‘Masta Blasta’ as part of the ‘Westside EP’ that hit the shelves back in 2011. Since that EP, Dillon has gone on to support the likes of Flux Pavilion and Nero on their world tours, as well as embarking on 2 of his own, not to mention his conquering of the Beatport chart.
‘Money Sucks, Friends Rule’ is the debut album by Francis that has spearheaded his most recent tour, the ‘Friends Rule Tour’, which will b making its way through the UK and the US during the next few months. After a few delays, the album finally hit the shelves at the end of October and has consequently led Dillon to be playing a host of dates, currently making his way through America. US venues include 2 dates at The Shrine Auditorium in his hometown of LA, as well as shows at Kansas City’s Arvest Bank Theatre and The Electric Factory in Philadelphia. Looking towards closer territory, the UK tour will kick off in February and will include this date at KOKO in London on the 5th.
