Having just released his debut album ‘Money Sucks, Friends Rule’, American DJ and producer Dillon Francis has just embarked on a UK and US tour that will first be making its way around America before hitting England in February. Dillon Francis is a well-known name in the world of dance music, having had music released on prolific labels like Fools Gold, Columbia Records and Mad Decent.
Born in Los Angeles California, Dillon Francis is a producer akin to big rooms sounds that don huge builds and event bigger drops. First appearing in 2011, Dillon released the ‘Westside EP’ that includes collaborations with the likes of Dave Nada and DJ Ammo as well as Diplo, whose creation with Dillon named ‘Que Que’ put the American on the map as one of the most exciting producers of the year and one to watch for sure. Since that EP hit the shelved Dillon has embarked on 2 world tours and supported other prolific artists life Flux Pavilion and the English dubstep duo Nero.
The tour that is currently snaking through America will be stopping at many famous US and Canadian venues such as Echo Stage in Washington DC, The House Of Blues in Boston and The Danforth Music hall in Toronto. After the final US date in January, the tour will then be jetting over the England where Dillon will playing in Brighton, London and Glasgow as well as this date at The Manchester Academy on February the 6th.
