On the 7th of October, young R&B artist Ella Eyre will be playing a special date at The Ritz Manchester for one of her UK tour dates taking place throughout the summer and autumn.
First surfacing in 2012 on the records of already well known artists, such as her appearance on Rudimental’s number 1 single ‘Waiting All Night’ as well as cameos with Wiz Khalifa and Bastille, Ella Eyre has proven herself as a promising young artist and a definite one to watch in future years.
Ella’s debut EP was released in December of last year and her first single ‘If I Go’ hit the shelves on the 13th of July. Since starting her musical career, Ella Eyre has already been a runner up for both the BRIT Critic’s Choice Award and the BB Sound Of 2014 Award, showing her apt for what she does.
Originally built in 1928 as a venue for revellers to gather in and dance to classical music, Manchester’s The Ritz is one of the most iconic buildings in the city. As a grade II listed building, The Ritz incorporates an awful lot of musical history having been given a £2 million refurbishment some years ago. This instantly put the venue at the forefront of live music and clubbing venues in Manchester, with notable performances in the past from the likes of The Arctic Monkeys, Snow Patrol and The Smiths to name just a few. As well as this, The Ritz has also been heralded for its popular club nights such as Rollerdisco at The Ritz and Ultimate Power being amongst many more. Now Ella Eye will continue to build on the venues musical history with her live performance on October the 7th.
