Building a huge UK following and shifting thousands, yes thousands, of self-released “Glass Caves EP” alongside sold out shows, the word finally got overground when, in April 2013, BBC Introducing gave the band their coveted Radio 1 Playlist slot.
This was swiftly followed by a Billboard Magazine position in their 'Fastest Accelerating Chart’ recognising the fastest growing new artists on the internet.
Initially building up a following busking on the streets of Yorkshire cities, Glass Caves started selling out venues in Leeds, Sheffield and York in 2013, ending a summer to remember with being selected for a number of city festivals (Live at Leeds, Tramlines, Long Division) and a host of new band stage appearances at various UK festivals, finishing with Leeds and Reading fests.
Fusing agitated rhythms, yo-yo guitars and vocal harmonies soaring above wonderful and unplifting material, the band draw on classic international influences and put them through a very British filter.
The result? Perfectly formed morsels of ballsy alt-rock!
