An acoustic evening with Gavin DeGraw
Gavin DeGraw, the Grammy nominated mind behind One Tree Hill’s title track I Don’t Want To Be, is about to embark on his Rock This Country Tour, which will see Gav play in all corners of the US and Canada throughout the summer and autumn period, stopping at some of the most iconic music venues in America, including New York’s Madison Square Gardens and Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.
In addition to these dates however, DeGraw will be playing a much smaller string of special acoustic performances, with two of these dates taking place in the UK at the end of October. With just 7 of these unique acoustic only shows featuring in his whole tour, which has a total of over 50 dates between June and October.
Throughout his career, Gavin has released a number of hit US singles, which include the double platinum TV show soundtrack and a further 2 platinum singles Not Over You and Chariot, the latter of which is also the title of his 2003 album, which again went platinum. Collaborations with the likes of Colbie Caillat gained DeGraw a number of award nominations, most recently being the ‘Best Song Written For Visual Media’ Award at The Grammys last year for the single We Both Know, featured in the film Safe Haven.
Gavin DeGraw’s European Acoustic Tour will visit Rotterdam, Oslo, Gothenburg, Stockholm, Aalborg and Copenhagen, with the dates in the UK preceding these. The second date on the tour will see Gavin perform at The Forum in London. The Forum has been one of the capital’s most iconic and popular music venues since its £1.5 million refurbishment in 2007, with the likes of The Velvet Underground, The Pixies and Carter The Unstoppable Sex Machine playing over the years The Forum has been in action.
