Demarzo (Hot creations)
Deep, provocative and eclectic – the crafted sound of DeMarzo. DeMarzo's greed for music was hereditary. His father's life long affair with Soul and Motown became genetic. At the age of 8, DeMarzo was enrolled into the Yamaha Keyboard School where he got his first taste of creativity. Years of writing and performing live became natural and nights spent watching Jazz improv's became highly influential. Whilst studying music technology at college he began producing his own material –An amalgamation encompassing all his influences became evident in his work. As a multi-instrumentalist, his obligation to inject ‘groove' into both his productions and sets is arousing more and more interest. DeMarzo's sound is a meticulously crafted one. His toxic perfectionism and shrewd sense of rhythm lead him naturally to where he is today. His well-revised sets include anything from underground deep house to main room deep tech. Releases on: Hot Creations, NastyFunk, Noir, This IS Recordings, Warung Records, Glasgow Underground, Resonance Records, Digital Delight, 2DIY4, Nurvous, Acid Fruits, Loulou Records. Overall, DeMarzo is striving to provide meticulously crafted dance music, which will definitely make you stand up and take notice.

Death on the Balcony’s release schedule is continually active with DOTB releasing & remixing with the likes of Culprit LA, Pets Recordings, Silver Network, Illusion Recordings, Akbal Music & Airdrop, with forthcoming releases on One Records, Hissy Fit & Join The Dots. Whether it’s disco inflected fuel or house rhythms, these eclectically deft producers will juxtapose anything they lay their hands upon, mixing the beat of the drum with the melodic buzz of a hazy brain. As one of the UK’s finest up and coming acts Death on the Balcony will be delivering more productions, remixes and playing world wide gigs as their range of musicality continues to evolve and they deliver a unique, well-timed narrative of the best sounds around.
Raffa FL (Nurvous)
Music is in the blood of Raffaele Calza, aka Raffa FL, as from a young age his musician father had an influence on his life. Raffa learnt to understand and perform music, and a natural progression came to DJ’ing at the tender age of just 14. Fast forward a few years, and 2012 most certainly belongs to Raffa. He has releases set to launch on labels including Nurvous Records, Say Ahh! Records, Digi...tal Delight and Swink Music, as well as releases on his own masterminded label ‘Tools and Stuff’ with DJ friends Dirty Culture. He has also been newly signed to underground UK label Love Not Money Records. February sees Raffa step up his game with eagerly anticipated EP ‘Hot For You’ on Electronique. The EP includes remixes by emerging UK talents Ashley Wild and Hot Since 82, Mexican house sleuths Climbers and French new kid Julien Sandre. All provide a diverse slant on the original charming work of this emerging Veronese talent. Support has already been given for the track across the world, by well respected DJ’s such as Laura Jones, Waifs & Strays, Wildkats, Droog and Russ Yallop. Later this year Raffa will also release his remix of the classic Kim English track ‘Nitelife’, on Nurvous Records. He also has many other projects in the pipeline, continually pushing to produce quality house music, designed for lovers of the sound.
