A night of forward-thinking music and retro beats, inspired by the lights, sounds and debauchery of 1970s New York.

Just A Little New York City Disco : A night of forward-thinking music and retro beats, inspired by the lights, sounds and debauchery of 1970s New York.
Horse Meat Disco | Death on The Balcony | Aartekt + Guests
Friday 23rd November | Full Circle | Aire Place Mills
Tickets £8/10/MOTD | 10.30 - 06.00
With a touch of finesse and class, alongside a shedload of dry ice and poppers, Just A Little will be taking you on a journey back to a time when the way a venue looked and felt was as important and immersive as the music....thats not to say you'll be being served any half-measures when it comes to the tunes; With two of the most sought after acts at the forefront of the disco revival within the house scene, on top of some of Leeds' finest purveyors of eclectic four-to-the-floor rhythms, you'll be boogieing ALL NIGHT LONG.
With an interior that harks back to the lavishness of NYC loft disco glamour (think light-up dancefloors, twisted projections and cosy drapes soaked in colour), and a musical concoction that will bring with it the thumping sounds of nu-disco and leftfield house, alongside all the nostalgic gems and obscure edits of the days of Studio 54, Leeds' legendary intimate warehouse space Full Circle will provide you with the most unforgettable night of the Winter.
Horse Meat Disco:
Acclaimed London DJ collective HORSE MEAT DISCO are now into their eighth year, have continued to lead the way with packed residencies at their HQ at The Eagle in London’s Vauxhall, Lux in Lisbon and with the Tape organisation in Berlin. Inspired by the music and inclusive ethos of New York’s club scene during the ‘70s and ‘80s, the collective have garnered a unique reputation for amazing parties and unmatchable sets, the quartet of DJs each mixing their own individual quality blend of disco juice with all manner of dancefloor fillers: be it punk, funk, italo, house, electric bangers or plain old oddities!
As well as shows every weekend through Europe and the UK Horse Meat Disco are trailblazing the disco heat to lovers from across the globe. Following a recent sell-out festival tour with DFA in Australia and world-beating appearances everywhere including top fashion house Chanel the team are a party syndicate to be reckoned with!
After appearing on Channel 4’s House Party, they are one of the most sought after foursomes in the biz, and we are greatly honoured to bring them to Full Circle and the Just A Little family.
Death on the balcony
For quite some time now the combined forces of Mark Caramelli and Paul Hargreaves have been causing quite a stir under their guise, DEATH ON THE BALCONY.
Their style fuses a range of influences from Disco & Deep House through to House & Deep Techno depending on the time, space and environment. Years of dedicated musical passion and an appreciation of numerous genres have lead to them perfecting their sound and receiving popularity across the board. Expect some surprises from the duo’s record bag packing an endless warmth & soul on their journey with you...
As one of the UK’s finest up and coming acts Death on the Balcony will be delivering more productions and remixes. As their range of musicality continues to evolve and they deliver a unique, well-timed narrative of the best sounds around.
A new project with big ideas and a fresh take on House music. Their vibe can be loosely described as a unique blend of House and Electronica, infused with organic elements. Their dynamic and exciting sets include live vocals, synths and percussion. As enormously successful promoters as well as DJs and producers, with nights like Flux and Vagabondz on their palmarès, this twosome know how to drive a party to delirium.
Disko Stew is a group of record collectors, DJs and promoters based in our very own Leeds. Their own events have rapidly evolved from a little basement party in Hyde Park, after a collaboration with Leeds finest Disco, House & Funk aficionados ‘Raised By Wolves’, to a lively monthly jam at the brilliant HiFi Club.
Heavily influenced by Roy Ayers, Blaxploitation movies, Disco 45s and Don Cornelius’ seminal 70s music show ‘Soul Train’, The Disko Stew, who operate a vinyl only policy, will collaboratively dig the crates, taking you on a cosmic journey through Afrobeat, Latin Funk & Soul to Italo & Disco House, with a splash of classics thrown into the mix.
