Kolsch returns to London for the first time this year as part of his inaugural UK headline tour. Landing at a trio of the finest underground spots the UK has to offer, Kölsch has timed this tour to precede a series of high profile summer dates and forthcoming releases. Taking place on Thursday 10th April, the first date will welcome Kölsch to London’s subterranean hideout Fire, for an intimate session of his much lauded live show.
Since the release of his artistically brilliant album 1977 on Kompakt last June, the electronic world has been in admiration. Fittingly described as romantic techno, each of the thirteen tracks are melodic electronic anthems that leave the mind in state of euphoria. The end of the year saw Kölsch tour his beautifully crafted sound across Europe with dates in Belgium, Switzerland, Netherlands, France and Spain to name a few. Following this Kölsch opened 2014 in fine form by kicking off BBC Radio 1’s Essential Mix Future Stars with a mix that set the precedent for rising artists taking part in the internationally acclaimed series. Having gained a vast amount of support from a plethora of the world’s leading talent, it’s clear that 2014 is the year of Kölsch.
With the next few months already shaping up nicely for the Dane, the rest of the tour will see him touch down in Manchester and Glasgow before taking on the mighty Amnesia Opening Party, Snowbombing and Mysteryland USA amongst others. Do not miss this rare opportunity to experience Kölsch at his very best.
