OK, so that’s a first. A tribute to a band that’s already played Fibbers (twice!).
The real Kasabian are just a little but too big for Fibbs these days but we’re especially pleased to welcome one of the most accurate tribute acts around, delivering a highly authentic and convincing Kasabian experience. And we should know …
Kazabian were voted “Best Tribute” at TribFest and playing to a 40,000 strong crowd at Liverpool’s Mathew Street Festival, you’re gonna get stuff from self-titled debut album “Kasabian”, “Empire”, the critically acclaimed “West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum”, and the phenomenal latest offering “Velociraptor!”.
From Clubfoot to Empire through to Fire and Days Are Forgotten, crowd reactions are often euphoric. Performances of B-Sides & special live tracks are often played, the set is constantly being updated to shadow what Kasabian are doing live.
They’ve even been on NME TV.
Tom Meighan … “they’re f**king frightening, they’re so good, they’ve mimicked everything perfectly, it might happen when we’ll put them on instead of us one day”
