Plus Special Guests
American rock band LIT will be descending upon The O2 Academy in Liverpool on Monday the 17th of November to play a live show alongside a selection of special guests who are yet to be announced.
First forming back in 1988 across the Atlantic in California, they had a string of singles in the 1990’s and 2000’s that included their worldwide hit, ‘My Own Worst Enemy’, which climbed to number 16 in the UK Singles Chart. Throughout their following albums that include ‘Tripping The Light Fantastic’, their self titled release in 2004, ‘The View From The Bottom’ and their newest album, from which a number of singles have been released, many of LITs tracks have been regularly played on the radio, with chart entries here, there and everywhere.
The most notable of the bands achievements is their platinum selling album ‘A Place In The Sun’, which this year celebrated its 15th anniversary. This was recognized with a special performance at The House Of Blues in Anaheim, California, where LIT played the album in full on the 28th of February to a rally of fans who still, and will always love that release, which contained the singles ‘Zip-Lock’, ‘Miserable’ and the chart topping single mentioned earlier.
