On the 14th November the Nick Raynes LCR in Norwich will host the English Synthpop band La Roux as part of their newly announced UK tour dates.
First appearing in 2008 with their debut single ‘Quicksand’ and the huge hit ‘In For The Kill’, which peaked in the UK chart at number 2, La Roux have long been a modern spearhead of the 80’s Synthpop sound. Influenced by prolific 80’s synth based groups like The Human League and Depeche Mode, the group have received a plethora of well-received singles, many of which have had a large impact on the charts.
Looking away from their original work, La Roux have also had their tracks such as I’m Not Your Toy remixed by prolific dance music producers such as dubstep producers Skrillex and Skream as well as electro house favourite Jack Beats. La Roux have gained fan both commercially and on the underground club scene as these remixes have been fronted by many DJs both in clubs and on the radio.
November 14th sees La Roux bring their keyboards, guitars and gelled up red hair to the Nick Raynes LCR in Norwich where they will be showcasing their new album, alongside classic tracks that we still love. Their new album Trouble In Paradise has been scheduled for release on the 7th July and has already been praised by many music journalists.
La Roux Norwich tickets are available from Ticket Arena.
