Lost Cove Surf Festival
The idea is to bring as many people into the fold as possible. To unite all the surf clans; from the North to the South. With the numbers comes the fun. After leaving it all on the beach the campers are invited to the Festival, where the jams are on and the times are good. These are the rewards for those who witness the perfect weekend, and promises to be a memorable occasion, for those early in their ocean career, or those about to head out into the world.
Our three favourite things are the environment, local people and new ideas. Big beach cleans, recycling everything we can and teaching is our way of showing our deep respect of Mother Nature and the ocean. At the heart of surfing culture are the locals; bands, brewers, security, food and surfing heroes all bringing beautiful vibes to your festival.
Lost Cove is all about the UK surfing community, much like Burning Man every surf clan is invited to bring their biggest and gnarliest ideas. This includes anything from spinning wax, budding Picassos, promoting a business idea or product, Titchmarsh titans to yoga gurus. Lost Cove is a platform for you to showcase your talent to the world, use it to your advantage and get involved.
While the Lost Cove is a great place to get loose and have a great time with your crew, don’t forget the main reason for this event; Surfing. Over the course of the weekend, athletes from across the UK will compete against their peers in two different events;
