Marcus Worgull’s claim to DJ fame is a respectable one. Growing up near Cologne, Germany, without any musical influences from his parents and relatives, he spent his formative years saving pocket money to purchase hiphop, reggae, funk and soul records from a small store, which in turn became a distributor – and is now owned by Marcus himself.

Learning the art of programming and important DJ skills by himself, he has definitely come a long way – from cutting his teeth as a DJ at the infamous U-Club to remixing tunes from The Juan Maclean and DFA, Gerald Mitchell from Underground Resistance and Permanent Vacation.
