I Love Live Events Present Mallory Knox at O2 Academy Liverpool
Plus Frank Iero, Fort Hope, Moose Blood
On Friday the 14th of November, the five-piece rock band from Cambridge Mallory Knox will be playing this single date at the O2 Academy Liverpool, joined by a selection of special guests who will be on hand to warm up the crowd before the headline slot.
Mallory Knox formed in 2009, with their debut album landing last year to the delight of both fans and critics. Reaching number 33 in the UK Album Chart, ‘Signals’ consequently led Mallory Knox to support Don Brocco on their 2013 tour, before coming a close second in the Kerrang! Awards Tour for Best British Newcomer. What followed was an extensive tour of festivals that included Reading, Leeds and Slam Dunk Festival as well as further supporting dates for Biffy Clyro. The end of last year marked the bands first ever headline tour and there also came the news of their new album ‘Asymmetry’ that is due to be released later this month.
Joining Mallory Knox will be Frank Iero, who is well known for being the guitarist and backing vocalist for the number one selling band My Chemical Romance. Since embarking on a solo project he has performed several original and cover tracks that have been released by labels such as Staples Records and Photo Finish, who put out his single For Jamia… as part of World Record Store Day 2014. Fort Hope are also supporting, alongside Moose Blood, who are both touring with Mallory Knox throughout their full schedule.
