Since it’s inception in 2008, MTA has been dedicated to releasing exceptional music across all genres. They’ve put out tracks from established artists such as Nero, and supported up-and-coming names such as Josh Butler, Abigail Wyles and Ben Pearce, whose platinum-selling ‘What I Might Do” was first released by MTA back in October 2012.

We can’t wait to welcome the MTA Records crew on the 1st Feb 2014 for a label showcase headed up by bosses Chase & Status, supported by rising starts Knytro and Kove!

Pharrell Williams of N*E*R*D hails them as ‘The most exciting producers in the UK today’, Rihanna considers them ‘the backbone’ of her record ‘Rated R’ but this isn’t enough to quench the musical thirst of multi award winning, platinum record selling producers, writers and musicians in their own right, Chase & Status aka Will Kennard and Saul Milton. With a career spanning 3 albums, multiple festival headline appearances, countless awards and collaborations with the likes of Rihanna, Example and Tinie Tempa, we can’t wait to welcome Chase & Status to Leeds once again to play an extended headline set!

Firing on all cylinders straight from the get go, US rapper Knytro’s classic hip hop vibes and electro-soul influences have him standing head and shoulders above the pack. With support from the likes of Mistajam and Zane Lowe, we can’t wait to hear what he’s got lined up for us!

Kove’s brand of bass-heavy Drum ‘n’ Bass has seen releases on none less than Viper Recordings and Ram Records. More recently, his 2013 'Measures' EP, released on MTA, found support from industry heavyweights Friction and Annie Mac. It's safe to say that Kove’s future looks bright!

Finally, our guys from North Base will be rounding off the line-up, keeping you on your toes with their eclectic mixture of Drum ‘n’ Bass, House, and everything in between!
