the magicians monocle
This is the launch of Minatour Events in association with University of East London. Minatour present a completely unique style of event as it encompasses all elements of creativity and interaction. Nothing at the event will be static, everything will be interactive including the art exhibtions. After years of being surrounded by unique and passionate creative, I decided it was time to gather them all together for one event. However, on creating the event, I realized it made more sense to keep all of us together and create a team - a team of artists from all areas, all striving for the same cause, expression. All at Minatour are proud to be part of something new and exciting, bringing all types of artistry together at one event.

Working with the final year students of UEL gives them the opportunity to develop their craft; be it dance, illustration, fine art, photography, fashion or graphic design, and present it through professional, exciting events. With regards to press, this project wants to reach out beyond the constraints of a university publicised event, we want to stand on our own feet and so will publicise the event through commercial channels, both in print, physical distribution and online. Our strategy is to speak about the talent coming from UEL in the event, positioning UEL as a supporter of fresh, relevant art in London. In conjunction with this, we want to build awareness in the university through promotional materials around campus, a spread in the student paper and a podcast/video to share in the wider artistic communities in London.
