Nest - 4th Birthday - Cassy & dOP live
Nest 4th Birthday Ft Cassy & dOP Live
Well it’s been fun filled four years which has seen us throw party’s at some of the best and worst venue’s known to man. From seedy warehouses on the outskirts of Leeds to the cosmopolitan surroundings of Ibiza, were proud to we’ve been around more than a low class Holbeck hooker. The partying has definitely taken its toll over the years and due to us completely forgetting our birthday last year were doing a joint third and fourth birthday at the esteemed Warehouse. With a line up bigger than DJ Sneak’s post xmas belly this birthday is definitely worth the wait.
Cassy, (Desolat, Cocoon)
We thought it only right to bring one the true pioneers of the techno circuit, who has flown the flag for the British scene since day dot. Cassy Britton has meticulously fashioned her craft over the last decade, approaching her productions and DJ sets with an attention to detail and passion that is hard to surpass.
She has a diverse body of work on highly-regarded labels such as Playhouse, Perlon, Ostgut Ton and Cocoon. With a residency at the prestigious Panorama bar and a list of collaborations with the likes of Steve Bug, Ricardo Villalobos and Luciano it’s not hard to see how this girl has been such hot property for the last couple of years. Playing at some of the biggest festivals and clubs week in week out, it’s down to more than good luck that we have secured her for our 4th birthday in the fitting confines of The Warehouse.
dOP, LIVE (Circus Company)
Well you can expect a night of tumultuous carnage in true nest style as we’ve brought in the only men deemed fit enough to outdrink a vodka swilling polak and Otley’s biggest larger lout. The French trio dOP will be bringing their infamous talents live to the stage for a fun filled night of excess at The Warehouse.
After hours of watching poker-faced guys solemnly mixing tech house records, nothing hits the spot like a troop of rambunctious, vodka-swigging Frenchmen. dOP built their name with musically accomplished house-not-house records on Circus Company and Supplement Facts, but their live show is without a doubt their pièce de résistance. Armed with racks of keyboards and a sleazy frontman who loves taking his shirt off, they're pretty much everything we ever dreamed to be and more…
