For our debut night we wanted to select an artist who not only delivers exceptional talent, but one who stands out amongst the ever-evolving and increasingly accessible scene. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, we know Jane Fitz will deliver.
Renowned for her seamless, somewhat elegant, and varied ability to select records, Fitz is a force to be reckoned with. In high demand, she has toured the world from the mountains of Japan to her regular residencies in London. You’ll find her eclectic mix of records executing fine sounds ranging through acid, airy house and psychedelic dystopian techno.
Taking the stage amongst Fitz is local lad Alex T, responsible for running On Rotation, a series of successful parties that have brought the likes of Laurine and Bruce to the local scene. In addition to this, Alex hosts monthly shows on KMAH Radio and is a regular contributor for Stamp The Wax. He has become a selector who feels as much at home playing downtempo jazz and soul as much as electro and acid house.
Accompanying the two will be London Born DJ Tom Drew, co-founder of Loop Hole, a local party with a strong community-based ethos. Tom is an avid record collector with a music collection that spans a multitude of genres, from spaced out dub and ambient to deep, trippy house and techno.
Relic is a new Leeds based night that seeks to provide a party for the people. We aim to create a close-knit community that will encourage the production of new ideas and outcomes for the event, as well as the record label that will proceed it.
As the brand builds, we plan to evolve continuously, pushing boundaries with artists, aesthetics, and locations. Our creative outlets remain unconfined to exclusive genres - we feel the most inspiring and entertaining arrangements are born out of eclectic sets and a diverse experimentation in style.
