Clock Strikes 13 has moved to XOYO tonight for a special double show with Simian Mobile Disco’s Delicatessen.
Alongside Pearson Sound and James Ruskin, the night that will now also feature a host of the UK's most exciting experimental artists. XL Recordings' Powell, Container (live), Fis (live), Lukid and more all join the bill for what should be a standout night on both floors.
Having helmed a 3 month long residency with us at the end of last year, we learned all about Simian’s penchant for techno, and their once-a-month Friday party will carry on along that theme, with a host of excellent guests in place.
The residency programme saw an eclectic range of guests from the likes of Mathew Jonson and Factory Floor to Damian Lazarus and Cajmere, which were all bookended by the duo’s exceptional skills at warming up and closing down the club. They truly did the residency series proud, so we’re honoured to be able to welcome them back for their new party ‘Delicatessen’.
Our second session will be a hallmark occasion, as we welcome Blueprint records boss James Ruskin and Hessle Audio's Pearson Sound to Delicatessen. With a thunderous approach to industrial techno, Ruskin's style takes no prisoners, meanwhile Pearson Sound demonstrated his hard-nosed capabilities with his self-titled debut album this year.
