Now, since the grade II listed building underwent a £2 million refurbishment, it has become one of the most popular clubbing and live music venues in Manchester, with regular appearances from some of the worlds biggest and best artists such as The Happy Mondays, The Stone Roses and The Beatles, as well as a number of clubbing venues that return an a regular basics. Boasting a sizeable yet intimate capacity, The Ritz still dons many of its original features including the balconies and attractive décor, however with a now state of the art lighting and sound system, it will give Shalamar an extra boost to make their comeback sound even more spectacular.
