This year, Slaves have been nominated for two of the most sought after awards in the British music industry. The BBC Music Sound Of 2015 and NME’s Best New Band Award both have Slaves in their short lists, with this summer looking to be hugely exciting as the band prepare to release their debut studio album.
Hailing from Tunbridge Wells in Kent, Slaves consists of Laurie Vincent and Issac Holman, who released their debut single Where’s Your Car Debbie? in 2014 on Fonthill Records. Along with a number of other releases that include 2 further singles and the debut EP, Slaves have released the news that their debut album, which will be titles Are You Satisfied?, will be hitting the shelves on the 6th of June.
Having just come of the back of their first tour in 2015, the demand for Slaves is at an all time high, what with several festival appearances line up for over the summer, including Leeds & Reading, T In The Park, Tramnlines, Common People, Stadon Calling and Camp Bestival amongst many others. In celebration of the release of the new album, Slaves have just announced that they will be going back on tour in November, with several dates confirmed including this gig at The Forum in London.
