Sassy J - Patchworks
Hailing from Bern in Switzerland, Sassy J is an admirable selector and although that term is bandied about almost too often... for her it truly fits. A keen purveyor of quality, she is a music lover who touches a wide range of genres with her selections.
She runs a highly esteemed club night known as Patchworks, attracting some of the world’s best including: Theo Parrish, Floating Points, Moodyman and Sadar Bahar to name but a few. As resident she explores a finely tuned combination of electronic and analogue sounds, with an aim to take the audience on a journey that’s timely, colourful and varied in its grooves. Her wide-ranging approach is certainly something we feel will fit perfectly with Studio 24!
Her musical vision and ability to explore different styles hasnt gone unnoticed, as she’s played on some of the most respected stages such as: Dekmantel, Eglo Dance and De School. The Trilogy Tapes released a tape of hers and she has also provided Resident Advisor with a beautifully crafted mix, which you can check out below…
