This year’s The Garden Party series culminates at The Faversham on the final bank holiday of the summer, where The Black Madonna will take centre stage alongside the ubiquitous Heidi and exciting live act Ross From Friends.
The Black Madonna joins us off the back of an incredible 2016, which saw her declared as ‘the final selector of 2016’ by Mixmag as well as a top 10 finish in Resident Advisor’s DJ poll.
Well-known for her eclectic selections, spanning a mix of house, disco and techno, her sets have achieved widespread acclaim both sides of the Atlantic and beyond, which has seen her go from strength-to-strength and prove to be one of the hottest acts of the past 18months.
Heidi will join The Black Madonna on 27th August to round off one of their most popular and memorable series to date.Whilst the Canadian is no stranger to The Garden Party, having joined us for our 10th birthday back in 2015, it will be the first time she brings her lively brand of house and techno to our infamous terrace.
Round things off will be Ross From Friends, who will bring a live set to The Garden Party, rarely seen on the terrace. Since ‘Talk To Me You’ll Understand’ dropped, his profile has gone strength to strength, bringing Lobster Theremin’s style of hazy house to the fore.
Our trusty residents Grainger and Matt Long will be doing their thing once again for the final time this summer, alongside serial diggers On Rotation and local pumping house and techno purveyors, Love Muscle.
