Every year at Vagabondz we like to do a charitable event to give something to those less fortunate than us and this year is no exception. Due to the ongoing crisis in Syria we have chosen to do an event in aid of Save the Children’s Syria appeal. We’ve worked round the clock to pull this event together and want to give a massive thanks to every artist involved. Featuring a line up that spans the whole spectrum of UK Bass with some very special unannounced headliners we really hope that you can make it down for what’s set to be a huge event.

Syria Crisis Appeal
More than 200,000 Syrian refugee children are now facing a bitter winter of sub-zero temperatures, freezing rain and snow.
Many families fled their homes in the warmer months, so lack warm clothes, blankets and fuel. Furthermore, with refugees currently living in tents or makeshift buildings, many lack basic services and adequate shelter, which fail to provide the warmth and protection they will need over the coming months.

“I’m worried about winter…especially for our young children. We want to have enough heating, warm clothes and blankets for children. What we need is the heating because we heard that it’s
going to be very cold here.” - Umm Ghofran, a refugee mother in northern Lebanon, currently living in a school with her children, husband and extended family.
How we're helping right now:

Save the Children is on the ground in Lebanon, Iraq and Jordan, working around the clock to respond to the needs of Syrian children and their families facing this harsh winter including:

• providing warm clothes, shoes, and blankets for children and their families at risk from the cold.
• Distributing tools and building materials to help families prepare their shelters for the cold conditions.
• Supporting large-scale food distribution in Jordan by giving families emergency rations.
• Creating safe areas for children to meet, play, and talk through their experiences – we know that the quicker we can help these children and their families cope with their experiences, the faster their recovery will be.
• identifying, providing support and refering vulnerable children who need immediate help to cope with what they have witnessed or experienced in Syria and ensure they get the support they need.
• Training teachers, social workers and parents to help affected children in the aftermath of the violence they have witnessed, including conducting home visits
• Providing and ensuring access to safe and formal education in both Lebanon and Jordan. We also provide information for parents and caretakers about the importance of registering their children at school
