Martin Buttrich is one of the most celebrated and successful electronic producers of our times, having worked with some of the biggest commercial and underground names in the business including The SugaBabes, Tori Amos, Mousse T, Timo Maas and of course Loco Dice, he now tours with his own live set-up and has become a firm favourite here at the Mint Club. In 2006/2007 Buttrich and Loco Dice joined forces in New York to create Desolat which has grown to become one of the most successful electronic labels of late. His acclaimed EP and album releases on Desolat, Poker Flat and Planet-E have rightly catapulted Buttrich into the limelight as an artist of his own accord, enjoying a tour schedule that has taken him to Australia, Japan, Switzerland and United States.
Guti's musical introduction began via the world of Jazz where he shone as an exceptional pianist playing in some of the biggest stadiums and winning golden records in South America. In 2006, music took him on a new journey and he began to create House music fusing electronics with his Jazz and Latin roots; Guti quickly became one of the most eager and interesting producers of Latino American House. Guti since then has proved himself as one of the most lauded electronic live artists in the world performing as an artist for Desolat. He has released music almost everywhere, from Saved to Crosstown Rebels, Wolf & Lamb to Supplement Facts, Defected Records and Desolat. Guti now counts Carl Cox, Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano, Loco Dice, Marco Carola and Seth Troxler as fans of his soulful yet forward-thinking music.
