American Express presents BST Hyde Park 2022
About
Spread over numerous weekends throughout summer, BST Hyde Park has showcased some of the world's leading artists over the years, including Lionel Richie, Celine Dion and Stevie Wonder.
Kicking off the series on Friday 24th June will be none other than Elton John. The show will form part of the iconic musician's Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour, which saw him begin in Allentown, Pennsylvania on 8 September 2018 and will take in over 300 concerts worldwide, finishing in 2023.
Saturday 25th June and Sunday 3rd July welcomes iconic band The Rolling Stones, who'll mark 60 years since they got together while treating fans to a set list packed full of classics such as ‘Satisfaction’, ‘Paint It Black’, ‘Tumbling Dice’, ‘Sympathy for the Devil’ and ‘Gimme Shelter’.
Sunday 26th June sees legendary rockers the Eagles hit UK shores as they celebrate 50 years. Armed with a huge list of hits, including 'Take It Easy', 'Life in the Fast Lane', and of course, 'Hotel California', their Hyde Park show is set to be a celebration to remember.
They will be followed on the Sunday by 80s icons Duran Duran in their only London show of 2021 and their first return to the capital in six years, on a bill that also boasts the legendary Nile Rodgers & Chic.
