Fort Punta Christo

The unmistakable Fort Punta Christo was built at the end of the 19th Century to defend the city of Pula, the Austro-Hungarian monarchy's main naval point. Still a site of great magnitude today, the fortress covers 10,000 square meters of land, is surrounded by a deep ditch and sat 45m above sea level.
