El Dorado Festival 2018
El Dorado Festival is the weekend long dive into the city of gold hosted by the effervescent party people Cirque Du Soul. For one weekend every year, the people behind the UK touring club brand that launched in 2014 will be creating an otherworldly environment at Eastnor Castle in Herefordshire, where several stages of music will soundtrack a journey to the mythical city where dreams come true.
El Dorado's first outing 2016 was a roaring success, Cirque Du Soul opening the golden gates of the lost kingdom to a sell out crowd, and had no trouble repeating the trick with another phenomenal weekend in 2017. With more than 5 stages named after fantasy worlds like Treasure Island, The Lost Ruins and The Boudoir, each stage welcomes refined groups of live artists and DJs who play through the day and evening.
Since their inaugural year the likes of Basement Jaxx and Craig David’s TS5 have headlined the festival, with plenty of other guests having also played, including Blonde, Toddla T, Clean Cut Kid, David Rodigan, Eton Messy, General Levy, Gentleman’s Dub Club, Jungle, Mr Scruff, Shakka, Tensnake, Shy FX, The Nexmen and Elf Kid amongst many others.
As June 2018 draws to a conclusion, El Dorado will once again open up as a weird and wonderful playground set against the contours of the magnificent English countryside.
