Sprouting from a gathering set up to bring together a small group of friends, Farr Festival has grown to become one of the UK’s most cherished electronic music festivals. Set in a tranquil environment within the Farr forest, the festival welcomes many of underground dance music’s most celebrated artists to perform to an intimate and friendly crowd in one of the most picturesque settings of any UK festivals.

Adopting a community-focussed ethos, Farr Festival has expanded gradually despite its rapid rise in popularity, ensuring that an increase in scale does not come at the expense of its wonderful atmosphere, and so it is no surprise that the likes of Gilles Peterson, Ben UFO, Helena Hauff, Tama Sumo, Move D and more have enjoyed performing for the gathered crowds at Bygrave Woods. It may have come along way in terms of its stature since it started in 2009, but Farr Festival is still much the same warm and personal party that it was at the very beginning.
