Kappa FuturFestival 2020
Kappa FuturFestival takes place each summer in the Italian city of Turin, close to the border with southern France. The setting – beneath the imposing industrial arches of Parco Dora – has become somewhat iconic for techno fans across Europe, who flock to the city each year for the huge-scale, two day party
Aimed squarely at passionate electronic music lovers, it seems that every major techno artist you could possibly imagine will have performed at the event at some point over its history – Detroit pioneers like Jeff Mills, Derrick May and Kevin Saunderson, German giants Len Faki, Ben Klock and Sven Väth, and modern megastars like Nina Kraviz, Amelie Lens and Charlotte de Witte.
Since the festival’s establishment in 2012, about 40,000 fans take annual trips from far and wide just to attend Kappa – partying from noon to midnight, and beyond as the music fades and attendees head to the city’s clubs and afterparties.
