Latitude Festival 2020
About
Held within the scenic meadows of Henham Park, a serene location with thousands of acres of land and a lakeside, is Latitude. An eclectic, vibrant multi-genre music festival that’s now heading into its fifteenth year, Latitude has retained it’s boutique, intimate feel over the course of its existence, whilst steadily becoming of one the UK’s most sought-after music festivals.
The Suffolk County-based festival is encouragingly family-friendly, with a variety of workshops, activities, and performing arts to occupy a wide demographic, however, it’s lineup is carefully crafted to appeal to young hipsters as much as those with a penchant for mainstream sounds. Past headliners have ranged from chart-toppers George Ezra, Snow Patrol, The 1975, and The Killers, to alternative champions in Portishead, Kraftwerk, Solange, and Fleet Foxes.
Beyond the music is where Latitude has arguably made its name, equally prioritising comedy and creative arts. The festival is now considered a crucial date in the comedy circuit’s calendar, with the likes of Russell Kane, Jason Manford, Dara Ó Briain, Simon Amstell, Katherine Ryan, Harry Hill, and Bridget Christie cracking jokes in previous editions.
