Leeds Indie Food 2018
About
Leeds Indie Food is a city-wide festival celebrating and promoting the best in independent food and drink. Featuring all sorts of fine-dining events, including wine tasting and foodie films, LIF calls on some of Leeds’ favourite bars and restaurants for the two-and-a-half-week summer banquet, which runs from 11th - 28th May.
In previous years has LIF boasted a cocktail full to the brim with special ingredients, culminating in a two-day party at The Tetley after a run that included an edible art show at Munro House and the collaboration of over 100 local businesses. From coffee to craft beer, curries to crêpes, the Leeds Indie Food festival will provide for all dietary desires.
Attendees this year will be treated to a tantalising collab between donuts and beer at North Bar, a spirited debate on the subject of all things grapes at The Decanter, and an eye opening Syrian Kitchen theme event hosted by Real Junk Food Project. These and many more events will ensure that fans of fine food and delectable drinks will want to be in Leeds this summer.
