Live At Leeds 2019
Live at Leeds is a metropolitan music festival which invites a line up of established national acts as well as upcoming local brands and musical talent to play at an array of venues around Leeds city centre. Taking place at a selection of pubs, bars, student unions and larger venues, Live at Leeds has been a pinnacle part in Leeds’ musical calendar for several years.
In a unique way, Live at Leeds involves each festival goer wearing a wristband which allows them entrance to all of the Live at Leeds venues on the Saturday which gives you complete freedom to where you want to go, and who you want to see. Also, there are occasional events during Live at Leeds which are made free to the public throughout the weekend as well as most of the events having tickets available separately on the door depending on capacity and ticket availability.
Over the space of 4 days, Live at Leeds provokes huge excitement around the city as many types of music fans make their way to the many venues to catch each member of the specially curated line up. The venues which Live at Leeds’ gigs have taken place at since the festival began include the O2 Academy Leeds, The Brudenell Social Club and the Leeds Met Students Union. As well as these there have been several additional venues added to the roster over the years which include Oporto, The Wardrobe and most recently Belgrave Music Hall and Canteen. All of these spaces offer different exciting atmospheres where each of Live at Leeds’ guests can be seen.
The selection of bands, live music acts and DJ’s that have played at Live at Leeds since its inauguration is huge. James Blake, London Grammar, Everything Everything, Rudimental, The 1975 and Forward Russia have all played amongst the tens of other Live at Leeds guests.
