About

The Warehouse Project's Parklife Festival is Manchester's most popular music festival, bringing a stunning cast of artists to Heaton Park each year, taking place on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th June in 2016.

The festival has welcomed many of dance music's biggest artists to play on stages from the likes of Kaluki, Red Bull, WHP, Crosstown Rebels and Hospitality, with guests such as Snoop Dogg, Hot Natured, Disclosure, Duke Dumont, Carl Cox and Heidi to name just a few, with Parklife 2016 promising their biggest lineup yet.

Once known as the Parklife Weekender, the festival takes place over two days but does not include camping facilities, with Heaton Park located just 5 minutes from Manchester city centre. Official Parklife Festival After Parties take place in town, meaning the festivities carry on long into the morning for Manchester's night owls.

Heaton Park

Heaton Park is one of the largest municipal parks in Europe, and gets put to good use each year as Parklife brings some of the finest artists in dance music to its 600 acres. Open as a park since 1902, Heaton Park has an illustrious history of hosting concerts and festivals, with gramophone open air concerts taking place as early as the 1900s. Host to the Madchester ‘Cities in the Park’ events that saw Happy Mondays, De La Soul and 808 State entertain tens of thousands during the acid house era, the green space has proven a perfect spot for the biggest parties in Manchester’s history, serviced by excellent public services at its location just 5 miles north of Manchester city centre.
