About Sunfall

In July 2016, new Brixton club Phonox brought Sunfall to Brockwell Park with a lineup designed to quickly establish it as one of London's best day parties. Followed by a selection of finely curated after parties across several locations, the festival kept attendees entertained from midday until well into the next morning, testing stamina but offering a reward well worth the effort.

About Sunfall (continued)

Already established as one of the best small festivals in the country, Sunfall attracts names from all over the globe, with the likes of Ben Klock, Omar S, Hunee and an abundance more talent having stepped out in the summer sun before the Sunfall Night Sessions at different venues across the city. The festival  offers a vast range of genres, presenting enviable selections whether jazz or electronica, house or hip hop, not to mention dubstep, techno, soul, drum & bass and disco. With so much on offer, picking out the highlights is tricky, but king of Detroit Moodymann, disco connoisseur Jeremy Underground  and the incredible jazz sensation Kamasi Washington were hard to ignore in the festival's inaugural year. With Move D, The Black Madonna, Helena Hauff, Theo Parrish and Larry Heard on the lineup for 2017, there's plenty to suggest this year will be even better.

Tickets are sold for the day party and your choice of one of the after parties, but with such a competitive group to choose from, decisions are not going to be easy.

All of the after parties run from 10 until late, and offer a special mix of names from the daytime lineup and new guests. 2016 saw Corsica Studios host Moodymann, Dimensions Soundsystem take to the Bussey Building and Mister Saturday Night team up with Rhythm Section’s Bradley Zero at Canavans. Brixton Electric also hosted Derrick Carter whilst Hunee made Jamie xx’s list of accomplices at The Coronet. Fire and Phonox also held goliath after parties, and you can expect more of the same this year.

Sunfall has stated its presence in a big way with lineups like these, and should command the attention of London’s most astute summer party-goers.
