Brand new to the world, TRNSMT comes to Glasgow Green in 2017 to fill the void that T In The Park left, filling in with extra oomph thanks to a huge lineup of top quality bands. Featuring Radiohead, Kasabian and Biffy Clyro as headline acts of its very first year, TRNSMT is clearly a special kind of festival to attract such big names, and you can be sure it’ll have an atmosphere to match. Famed for the fervent atmospheres served up by the locals, Glasgow is considered one of the UK’s best cities for music events, and so nobody should be surprised if there’s a livewire buzz about the city when TRNSMT gets underway.
Belle and Sebastian

It was clear from the first moment that TRNSMT means business; an outstanding inaugural lineup not only put Radiohead on as one of the three headliners, but also included Rag’n’Bone Man, Catfish and the Bottlemen, and a load more huge indie sensations. Replacing a festival as successful as T in the Park is no mean feat, but with the same organisers behind it there’s a good chance that the new kid on the block will soon have banished memories of the old guard and asserted itself as one of the top new festivals anywhere in the UK.
